Marko Kovacevic is an educator and visual artist from Belgrade, Serbia, based in Brooklyn, New York. He holds a BFA in Photography and an MFA in Photography, Video and Related Media from the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City.

As Director of Operations for the Masters in Digital Photography program at SVA, Marko works closely with students, guiding and advising the production of new photographic projects. He teaches multiple classes at the school at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

His personal work is informed by his own immigrant experiences and focuses on the relationships between people and places, notions of home, language nuance, and cultural idiosyncrasies. He finds inspiration in people, memories, the sense of place and history, both public and personal.

Commercial clients include British Airways, Framestore, and Young & Rubicam. Marko's images have been published internationally in Svijet Croatia, Vogue Mexico, and Vogue Italia. His work has been shown at Photoville NYC, Morristown Museum, and Folley Gallery.
